What is Fractional Chamber Leadership?
It's support without the full-time cost or commitment.
Many nonprofits are discovering that fractional leadership offers a smart, flexible way to build capacity, accelerate impact, and strengthen systems — without overextending their budgets or leadership team.

In my case, this is where you exhale the sigh of relief that you're talking to someone who understands the Chambers of Commerce network, the operational limits you may be facing and therefore, ways fractional support will best help you focus on supporting local businesses in a sustainable way.
Big-picture strategy grounded in real Chamber experience.

Fractional Is In. Burnout Is Out.
Here's what makes fractional a compelling option.
Chamber expertise at a sustainable cost
- Access to talent, without having to pay a full-time salary and benefits. Fractional leaders plug in at a level that matches your needs, delivering flexible, scalable, and on-demand support.
Real implementation, not just advice
- Unlike consultants who may hand off recommendations and leave, fractional leaders can embed themselves in your Chamber. They roll up their sleeves, join your team, take ownership of initiatives, and help drive change from the inside.

Predictable monthly retainer
- With the exception of project-based support (i.e. a strategic plan), fractional engagements run on a monthly retainer, giving you financial predictability and steady support for the long haul.

Systems and processes that last beyond the engagement
- Good fractional leaders don’t just do the work — they help build organizational capacity.
They leave you with tools and systems that you can manage after their engagement ends.

Flexibility as your needs evolve
- Your organization isn’t static; neither is a fractional engagement. Hours can scale up or down, and roles can shift in response to new priorities.

Is My Fractional Chamber Leadership Right For You?
This isn’t a stopgap — it’s a strategic investment.
Rather than tracking hourly work, I focus on delivering
agreed-upon outcomes.

Working with me makes sense if your Chamber:
- Needs senior-level capacity
- Is navigating a transition
- Wants to build long-term systems and processes
- Is exploring new functions or projects
How We'd Start
Assess what’s working and what’s stuck
- A short discovery period helps us understand your priorities, team, and current capacity.

Determine the best place to start
- If hiring me on fractional retainer vs. project-based (i.e. strategic plan), we'll develop a custom plan (i.e. part member engagement and part marketing), so you feel properly supported with a clear roadmap including deliverables, timelines, and measurable outcomes.

Decide on schedule based on your budget, goals and required timeline
- Based on the time required to complete the tasks and your budget, I will quote accordingly which is typically based on the equivalent of $50.00-$60.00/hour.
Research funding options
- Funders love to support capacity building, so if a program is available to cover/partially cover my services, I can assist with the application process.
